If you were at an American public school between 1966 and 2012, you probably remember the dreaded Presidential Physical Fitness Test.The test involved a mile run, sit-ups, pull-ups, a sit-and-reach and a shuttle run (which is similar to a sprint).Kids who came out in the top 15 percent were given a Presidential Physical Fitness Award and thought to be 'athletically gifted.'
