Cubs manager David Ross was ejected from his team's win against the on Sunday after laying into home plate umpire Alex MacKay with a few cuss words, following a pitching call, and prior to the start of the All-Star break. Ross - a two-time World Series champ' who's in his fourth season as Cubs manager - got tossed in the bottom of the first when he seemingly disagreed with a call going against Chicago's starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks. The 46-year-old, who's been in charge of the Cubs since 2020, stormed out of the dugout and onto the field at Yankees Stadium to share his thoughts on MacKay's officiating, which was picked up by the Yankees' broadcasters.
