The NFL has fined former owner Dan Snyder $60 million after an investigation into allegations of misconduct and financial improprieties, the league said on Thursday. The announcement came after the sale of his team to the Josh Harris-led consortium was confirmed for $6.05 billion. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell appointed former chair of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Mary Jo White as the independent investigator after allegations against Snyder made by former team employee Tiffani Johnston at a roundtable in 2022.
