An death row inmate convicted of the brutal rape and murder of a student has rejected his chance for a clemency hearing despite maintaining his innocence.Anthony Sanchez, 44, is scheduled to be executed in September for the killing of Juli Busken, 21, but was offered a chance for a clemency hearing by the state's governor Kevin Stitt. Sanchez, however, plans to proceed with his death sentence, claiming there is 'little hope' that the state's Republican governor Kevin Stitt would spare his life.
