A former Democratic congressman from Philadelphia pleaded guilty Monday to fraudulently stuffing ballot boxes for Democratic candidates and allegedly bribing judges across multiple elections. Former Democratic U.S. Rep. Michael J. 'Ozzie' Myers pleaded guilty to conspiracy to deprive voters of civil rights, bribery, obstruction of justice, falsification of voting records, and conspiring to illegally vote in a federal election.Myers, 79, admitted that he bribed a judge of elections - who is in charge of the polling place - to add votes for his chosen candidates, including clients who were running for judicial offices. The bribes were hundreds or thousands of dollars, prosecutors said.
