Democrats boycott Netanyahu as pro-Gaza protestors flood D.C. streets

Close to 100 are expected to skip Prime Minister Netanyahu's speech due to tensions over the ongoing war with the Hamas terror group in .

Most notable absences include Vice President , who would have presided over the , but is claiming a scheduling conflict, former House Speaker and the second most powerful Democratic Senator Dick Durbin D-Ill.

Rep. , D-N.Y., is also planning to boycott the speech, calling the prime minister a 'war criminal' amid the bloody conflict that has seen loss of life in Gaza.
