The founder of pro-Ron DeSantis political action committee Never Back Down told DailyMail.com that he doesn't view Sen. Tim Scott or Vivek Ramaswamy as threats to the Florida Governor.

The founder of pro-Ron political action committee Never Back Down told DailyMail.com that he doesn't view Sen. or as threats to the Florida Governor.

Ken Cuccinelli, who was a top Homeland Security aide under , defected from the ex-President and is now helping back DeSantis' bid for the White House.

While DeSantis consistently polls in a distant second place to Trump, some other candidates in the crowded field are gaining some ground on him with Scott and Vivek often trading off for third place – but Cuccinelli isn't concerned.
