Couples who move in together before getting engaged or married are more likely to end up , according to research by the Institute for Family Studies, a conservative think tank.Dr Scott Stanley and Dr Galena Rhoades, two family psychologists, found that 34 percent of couples who cohabited before they got engaged and married ultimately split up or got divorced.That compares to 23 percent of couples who started living together after they got engaged or married.
