Law enforcement are battling an 'unprecedented' rise in threats against elected and judicial officials as the US faces a ‘very challenging threat environment,’ federal officials are warning. Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco said the number of death threats and threats of violence against officials is on the rise across the country. She told ABC's This Week that threats have been made against 'Law enforcement agents, prosecutors, judges, election officials... and we are seeing that and responding to it.'
