Doomsday clock moves to 90 seconds before midnight - the closest ever

The Doomsday clock is the closest it has been to global catastrophe after this annual update on Tuesday that brought the hypothetical timekeeper 90 seconds to midnight.

The change is largely due to the war in , which the Science and Security Board of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists fear will carry on for its second year.
