A federal judge will allow writer E. Jean Carroll to amend her defamation lawsuit against to seek extra damages for comments he made at last month's town hall.
Carroll had for a third time over his 'vile' comments, which were a repetition of statements a federal jury previously found to be defamatory.
During the controversial town hall, which aired a day after Carroll was awarded $5 million in damages in a separate lawsuit, Trump slammed his accuser as a 'whack job'.
