Mayor Eric Adams launched a defense of his new $53million program that would give pre-paid food cards to migrants, saying it will save food delivery companies money.The mayor , coming from everyone from his rival on the migrant crisis, Governor , to rapper and native New Yorker 50 Cent.Speaking the state legislature in Albany Wednesday on what's known as 'Tin Cup Day' where mayors make funding requests, Adams insisted again that the cards will cut on spending and claimed his critics had been lying about the program.
