Mayor Eric Adams held a series of high-octane meetings at the Friday, days after going rogue by saying President Biden and his team 'have failed New York City' in dealing with the migrant crisis.Adams said New York could face costs as high as $4 billion to provide care for immigrants who have come to the city, with more than 55,000 asylum seekers coming to the city over the past year. The numbers could jump more after the expiration of Title 42 authority. He scored the meetings after his slashing comments that placed him outside the White House tent – despite serving on a board that advises Biden on his reelection.
