Mayor Eric Adams said early Thursday that he will be asking President Biden for enough money to bring a “9/11 response” to the “pandemic” of gun crime on city streets.Adams told WCBS 880 of his plans ahead of his scheduled meeting with the embattled commander-in-chief in Manhattan Thursday, and hours after the White House unveiled new plans to tackle the plague of “ghost guns.”The mayor said he will press the president on the urgent need for federal funding to help “have a 9/11 response to the terror of violence that’s playing out on American cities throughout this entire country.”
