Estée Lauder is slashing around 3,100 jobs amid plummeting sales at duty-free shops and lagging business in .The cosmetics giant announced the lay-offs Monday morning, causing stocks to soar by nearly 16 percent in pre-market trading - their highest since November 2011. By Monday afternoon they were up 12 percent.It comes as part of a mass-restructuring at the company whose brands include Bobbi Brown, Clinique and The Ordinary among others.
