A GoFundMe page claiming to benefit the family of deceased Nottingham Panthers hockey player Adam Johnson is now in the process of transferring funds to the intended recipients after the website investigated scam allegations. The family Johnson's grieving girlfriend Ryan Wolfe previously said it had no involvement in the GoFundMe page in question, warning the public to be cautious of a potential scam. However, GoFundMe has since issued a statement to DailyMail.com confirming that the page, started by a woman identified as Laura Oates, had been contacted regarding her page and that all funds would now be transferred to an official fund established by the Nottingham Panthers.
