Marine life experts are warning that the underwater surveys used to build off-shore may be to blame for a recent spate of beached whales.In just the past month, seven whales have washed up along the shoreline of New York and — an unprecedented number.During that time period, experts say, companies contracted by the New Jersey government to build off-shore wind farms have been conducting underwater geographical sonar surveys that emit the same frequency whales use to navigate.
