The family of a British military veteran who was killed in an Israeli drone strike on a convoy of aid workers has said they are 'utterly heartbroken' by his death, and have hit out at the 'senseless violence' being seen in .
James Kirby, from Bristol, was among three Brits who were part of a security team in the World Food Kitchen convoy, which was bombed while leaving a warehouse in Deir al-Balah, south of Gaza City.
The aid worker's family said that he, along with the other six individuals who tragically lost their lives in the disaster, 'will be remembered as a hero.'
