A 14-year-old boy with autism has been identified as one of the four victims tragically killed in a Georgia school shooting on Wednesday, after his desperate family members were unable to reach the teen in the aftermath of the rampage.
In an attempt to find Mason Schermerhorn, his relatives began circulating his photo online. His sister Lilianah urged the public via an story to 'PLEASE use a calm voice with him' and to 'let him know his mom is looking for him for reassurance'.
But shortly after, Mason was identified as one of the four people killed at Apalachee High School, with a loved one saying after his passing it is 'sad we can't even send our babies to school and them be safe'.
