Father of Hamas hostage mistakenly shot dead by IDF demands ceasefire

The grieving father of a hostage mistakenly shot dead by the IDF has demanded his country call an immediate ceasefire to free those in captivity.

Avi Shamriz, 62, singled out prime minister for 'failing' his son Alon, as he said eliminating must wait until all hostages are released.

In an unflinching interview, the 'broken' special forces veteran also told how his 26-year-old boy did 'everything right' to save himself but was gunned down anyway.
