The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation has searched the home of former Vice President Mike Pence in what is reportedly part of a classified records probe. The domestic intelligence agency carried out the consensual search of Pence’s Indiana home on Friday, several weeks after his lawyer Greg Jacobs informed the National Archives that records with classified markings had been discovered at the residence. The documents were handed over to the FBI.“Let me be clear: Those classified documents should not have been in my personal residence,” Pence said at Florida International University last week. “Mistakes were made, and I take full responsibility.”
