Historic fishing shacks that had stood the test of time - at least for 200 years - were no match for the ferocious winter weather unleashed by the latest winter storm to hit on Saturday.The weather system brought with it record flooding and high winds along the coast and saw iconic fishing shacks which had stood for centuries, washed away into the Atlantic as the highest tide of the season swept along the shoreline.Fishing shacks at Fisherman's Point in Portland stood no chance against the elements which showed no mercy as high tide simple swept them away into the sea around noon on Saturday.
