Flight delays have soared to a decade-high - with more than a fifth of US planes landing late in the last 12 months, DailyMail.com can reveal. Exclusive data from flight tracking platform shows that a shocking 21.4 percent of flights in the last year have been held up by an average of 50 minutes. Flight delays have been steadily worsening in the last decade - despite ticket prices soaring and airlines posting record profits. The last time delays were close to last year's high was in 2014, when 18 percent of flights were late arriving.
