A country-wide shortage of baby formula is hitting food banks and pantries that help lower-income clients. Derrick Williams, operations manager for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina in Raleigh, N.C., said Friday that his food bank, which helps 600,000 people, is “definitely being impacted” by the shortage.“We have seen very little baby formula, and we have had recalls on some baby formula,” he told Fox News. “If we do get it [baby formula] at all, we have to make sure it hasn’t been recalled.”
