Ford is to cut about 700 workers involved in assembling the F-150 Lightning, an electric variant of the company's best-selling pickup truck.The number 2 U.S. automaker said the cuts are unrelated to the United Auto Workers strike. Ford said the move takes effect on Monday and would rotate the shift that is being cut. The company did not say how long the production cut would last.
