Four people inside a Dodge Charger died and two others were injured in a fiery wreck that occurred after the driver sped away from police at 169 mph on a Georgia highway early Sunday, a report said.
A Monroe County deputy first spotted the car zipping along at 102 mph on I-75 just after midnight before the driver increased the speed to 137 mph, WSBTV.com reported, citing authorities.
The deputy tried to pull over the Charger, but instead of stopping the driver hit the gas even harder, reaching 169 mph, the report said.
