The mother of a Manhattan EMT who was stabbed six times in an ambulance by a mentally disturbed man she was taking to hospital has asked how he was free to attack his daughter, given his lengthy violent criminal record.Julia Fatum, 25, was responding to a call at 9pm on July 19 of a man suffering a cardiac arrest.She and her crew picked up Rudolph Garcia, 48, from the Upper West Side - and when Garcia was inside, he attacked Fatum with a kitchen knife, stabbing her in the arm, leg and abdomen.
