A luxury outdoor furniture brand has recalled sun loungers after reports they can injure fingers so badly they need to be amputated.
Frontgate issued a recall for 70,000 Newport aluminum and teak chaise lounge chairs last week.
'When adjusting the backrest while seated, the adjustable backrest can unexpectedly descend with force, posing finger crushing and amputation hazards,' the recall notice posted to the Consumer Product Safety Commission read.
