Governor has allegedly been trying to negotiate Hollywood's twin strikes as it threatens to plunge an industry which generates billions of dollars into chaos. The Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (SAG-AFTRA) decided to stand in solidarity with the Writers' Guild of America (WGA) - which has been striking since May - after negotiations with studios fell apart. It is the first time when Ronald Regan was the Actors' Guild president.
