The wife of the Gilgo Beach serial killer suspect Rex Heuermann risks losing her health insurance as she battles breast and skin cancer, and the family now plan to sue over the search that destroyed their home. Lawyers for Asa Ellerup, 59, also released new images of inside her family home after the police spent more than a week scouring for evidence. In a press conference on Friday, Ellerup's lawyer, Robert Macedonio, said the family would file a notice of claim over the search because their civil rights have been violated. They also released new images of the damage in the home which shows their belongings trashed.
