A federal court jury has decided that 's app store monopoly was anticompetitive in ways that were detrimental to smartphone consumers and software developers.The unanimous verdict reached on Monday deals a blow to a major pillar of the technology empire and came following a four-week trial revolving around a lucrative payment system within Google's Play Store. Both Google and Apple charge a 30 per cent fee for apps and in-app purchases and limits companies from helping users find cheaper options elsewhere.
