Putting graphic warnings on cigarette packets in America will have 'no effect' on the number of cigarettes smokers have every day — but will shame them into hiding their boxes, a study has revealed.Researchers at the University of , San Diego, found smokers given packets stamped with images of diseased feet, ill children and throat cancer continued to puff on about 10 cigarettes daily up to a year after receiving them. But six in ten admitted to concealing the packets at least some of the time due to the images, which was up 40 percent from before the study began.
