Ruthless mafia boss Matteo Messina Denaro who spent 30 years on the run for murdering 50 people including a boy dissolved in acid was buried today in a private funeral attended by his family including his daughter he only met after his capture.The mafia godfather, who once boasted he could 'fill a cemetery with his victims', died of colon aged 61 in hospital on Monday - eight months after he was captured by armed police at a medical facility in Palermo, Sicily. Messina Denaro, dubbed the 'last godfather' of the notorious Cosa Nostra gang, was buried in the cemetery of his home town of Castelvetrano, in Sicily, this morning in a funeral watched closely by specialist police officers.
