Amazon's first US union leaders are at loggerheads less than two years after the group formed, with infighting and dried up donations leaving them 'pretty much broke'. Workers at a Staten Island warehouse against the online retail giant in April 2022, suggesting that others might follow. But 21 months later it remains the lone organized warehouse in the US, and the grassroots group - called the Amazon Labor Union - is yet to finalize a contract with the corporation.
