House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries admitted on Thursday that progressive Rep. made 'mistakes' using anti-Semitic tropes but defended her as Republicans booted her off the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

The House's Republican majority introduced a resolution to strip Omar of the valuable committee assignment over her past comments, which passed along party lines.
