A Hawaiian couple is suing four power firms for keeping their lines energized despite 'high fire danger' warnings being issued before the .Monica and Rede Eder, who own a house in the seaside town which has been razed to the ground by the wildfires, launched the suit 'on behalf of a class and subclasses of all persons similarly situated' - as they say 'scores of people burned to death'.The suit is made against Hawaiian Electric Industries - which serves 95 percent of 's 1.4 million residents - and its companies HECO, MECO and HELCO.
