A Northern couple and their dog had to be rescued earlier this by a helicopter crew after spending nearly two moths trapped in their snowed in remote cabin. The California Highway Patrol's Valley Division Air Operators on Wednesday shared a video on its page, showing its H-20 helicopter hovering over the couple's snow-bound home standing in a clearing in the woods. According to the agency, the couple, who were not named, had been stuck in their cabin in Sierra County since December 6.
