An Ontario police chief lashed out at the media for 'sexualizing young women' as he explained why it took his force six years to charge five hockey stars with gang rape. Police chief Thai Truong said he had apologized to the victim for the delay in bringing charges against Michael McLeod and Cal Foote of the Devils, Dillon Dube of the Calgary Flames, Carter Hart of the Philadelphia Flyers, and Alex Formenton, who now plays in Switzerland.But he did not explain why police closed their original investigation into the 2018 attack at the Delta London Armouries Hotel in his city where players were staying during a Hockey fundraiser.
