Horror as 3-month-old baby boy shot in chest in Walgreens parking lot

A three-month-old baby boy and his father were seriously injured after being shot at in their car outside a Walgreens, where they had stopped to buy formula.

Jeremiah Carlos and his 21-year-old father, who was not identified, were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital on Saturday with injuries so serious the baby will need medical treatment until his teenage years, doctors said.

The family-of-three were attempting to pull out of the West 26th Street Walgreens around 4:30pm when two armed males got out of an SUV and began shooting at their Camaro, a police report, viewed by the , said.
