Tucked into the sprawling $1.2 trillion government funding bill that passed the House Friday was a provision that shut down the House Office of Diversity and Inclusion.Effective Monday, the office will close, with some of its staff transitioning over to the newly formed Office of Talent Management. The non-partisan Office of Diversity and Inclusion was first formed in March 2020 and supports diverse hires with things like resume workshops and professional development fairs.
