The House of Representatives overwhelmingly approved a bill providing additional security to Supreme Court justices and their family members Tuesday — six days after an assassination attempt against Justice Brett Kavanaugh was stopped and more than a month after the legislation cleared the Senate by unanimous consent. The 396-27 vote clears the way for President Biden to sign the measure into law, which he is expected to do. Republicans had urged the House to pass the Supreme Court Police Parity Act almost from the moment the Senate approved the measure on May 9.
