GoFundMe and its millionaire boss Tim Cadogan are under pressure to cut back on the 'shocking' fees and extras the fundraising platform skims from those donating to victims of the wildfires.
Kathryn Barger, a member of the LA County Board of Supervisors, this weekend slammed the site for charging her $95 as she tried to give $500 to a family left and destitute by the blazes ravaging the city.
A DailyMail.com analysis revealed that fees and add-ons for just one of GoFundMe's more than 500 LA wildfire appeals amounted to as much as $400,000 for the California-based firm.
