Hundreds of cops in Charlotte showed up to honor one of the cops killed in Monday's shootout with felon Terry Clark Hughes.
Hughes, 39, fired at least 100 rounds from a high-powered rifle at officers who were outside the home he was in as he was . He was fatally shot during the exchange.
The shooting left four dead. Two officers, Samuel Poloche and William Elliot, were with the Department of Corrections and Thomas Weeks was a deputy U.S. Marshal.
