A rare hurricane is set to hit Southern as early as Sunday morning, bringing dangerous 70mph winds and downpours, according to forecasters. Tropical Storm Hilary is currently brewing in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Mainland and is due to develop into a hurricane by 1pm on Thursday and a major hurricane by 1am on Saturday. By Sunday afternoon, Hilary is expected to become a lesser hurricane and then hit Southern California and potentially as a tropical storm.
