A bartender has left the internet stunned after revealing she made more than $600 during a single shift - equating to nearly $50 an hour.

Avery Linhart, who works at the restaurant chain Twin Peaks, documented her earnings on earlier this month with a clip that sparked fierce debate about how much restaurant workers are paid.

Avery, from , explained at the start of the now-viral video, which has so far gained nearly two million views, that her rent was due, but she was $300 short.
