Following quickly after their emphatic region, has now launched its first space mission to study the sun.The Aditya-L1 spacecraft took off on board a satellite launch vehicle from the Sriharikota space center in southern India Saturday on a quest to study the sun from a point about 930,000 miles (1.5 million kilometers) from Earth, known as L-1. The rocket left a trail of smoke and fire Saturday as scientists clapped, a live broadcast on the Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) website showed.
