Women are being lulled into a false sense of security that treatment will enable them to become middle-age mothers, a world-leading expert has warned.Professor Cornelis Lambalk, editor-in-chief of the influential medical journal Human Reproduction, said delaying parenthood as a result was a risky strategy.He was responding to a recent Australian study, published in Human Reproduction, which found use of 'assisted reproductive technology' (ART) in women over 40 has risen by more than half over the last decade.
