Best-selling author Jodi Picoult has finally revealed the correct way to pronounce her name - after years of hearing her fans say the moniker incorrectly.

Jodi, 56, who is best known for her novel My Sister's Keeper, explained in a recent video that she only realized how many people were failing to use the right pronunciation after she joined the social media app and heard other users trying - and failing - to say her name properly.

So, she decided to finally set the record straight in a tongue-in-cheek video detailing the many incorrect versions she has heard - while finally explaining exactly how to say her surname.
