Golfer Jordan Spieth saved par after being inches away from falling off a 70-feet cliff at Pebble Beach on Saturday. 'It was by far the most nerve-wracking shot I've ever hit in my life' he said.

Jordan Spieth hits WILD shot inches on edge of 70-feet cliff

Golfer produced a literal cliff-hanger at the picturesque Pebble Beach golf course as he took a swing mere inches from the edge of a 70-foot drop to the Pacific Ocean below.

Speith, the 15th-ranked golfer in the world, quickly backpedaled before the momentum of the swing carried him over the cliff during the third round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in on Saturday.

'It was by far the most nerve-wracking shot I've ever hit in my life, like by far,' he told his caddie after his second shot on the par-4 eighth, one of the world's most famous - and treacherous - holes.
