Travelers flying home from Fourth of July getaways faced more flight delays throughout the day on Monday as US airports continue to buckle under the strain of post-COVID travel rebound. At least 251 flights within or out of the US had been canceled as of 11 p.m. on Monday, while 3,233 other domestic trips have been delayed, according to travel site Those figures were slightly lower than in recent days, when well over 500 flights have been canceled and up to 8,000 delayed.
